Kitty Hawk Plant
RPC Contracting operates a state of the art Gencor drum mix asphalt plant at its location on Woods Road in Kitty Hawk, NC. Founded in 1999 as the asphalt production facility for RPC Contracting, the plant is capable of producing up to 150 tons of asphalt per hour. The facility can produce all types of NCDOT certified standard and super-pave asphalt mixes as well as handling and distributing asphalt millings and other stone products used by RPC Contracting and others in the community. The plant can produce asphalt of any type and quantity required, whether needed for pothole repairs, parking lot construction, highway paving or resurfacing. Our Operations Manager is an NCDOT certified Asphalt Technician and performs asphalt testing and mix designs at the DOT approved on-site laboratory facility.
Elizabeth City Plant
Our plant in Elizabeth City, NC features a cutting edge Astec Double Barrel dryer/drum mixer. The new facility allows us to continue producing the same great product while keeping operating costs low. That, coupled with the new location, ultimately allows RPC Contracting to offer the same competitive pricing to a broader region.
